The Story
The whole story is probably best told over a beer or three...
Creative Roots opened for business in the fall of 2008. We learned a lot of (expensive) lessons, and made a lot of (stupid) mistakes during those first few years. As Lindsey likes to say, “you don’t know what you don’t know”. Through everything, customer satisfaction was always the top priority, and with lot’s of blood, sweat and tears we survived. Maybe not so much blood, that would be weird.
Fortunately for us we began with a couple of amazing clients which we still do business with to this day. Like most small companies we started out doing just about any work that came along, we were hungry (literally and figuratively) and worked our butts off (only figuratively). We’re always looking for the right fit with new clients, and typically we’re looking for long-term relationships…we’re old-fashioned like that.

First off, that’s an old picture. I’m way more grey, fat and ugly now. But on the bright side, I’m also a lot more sarcastic.
Secondly, I won’t bother to write this bio in third person (everybody does that and it always seems strange to me). Do people really have other people write their bio’s? And if so, somebody send me a referral please. Wow, this has really gone off the rails now and I’m already almost out of space… maybe that’s why people have other people write their bio’s. Now I’m just typing everything that pops into my head. Crap, I just did it again.

Studied graphic design at Ball State University (a long time ago). Been in the design industry ever since. Have a great son and a wife with an awesome husband. Once came within one shot of tying Lindsey in a round of golf.

Lindsey is a seasoned professional who also enjoys writing in the third person just to annoy Alan.
Lindsey graduated from the University of Southern Indiana where she studied Business Administration and Marketing, and also played on the Women’s Golf Team. In addition to being in charge of all common sense matters, she does have 16+ years experience managing professional associations, which means she knows how to keep people and projects focused and on task.
