Alan Knight

President

Before making the leap to business owner in November 2008, Alan’s journey led him down an interesting path. After graduating from Ball State University in 1999, Alan worked in prepress, developing a knack for Photoshop, and a loathing for FUJI proofs. From there he moved into design, working on licensed projects for companies like NASCAR and Ford. Later an Account Manager, and eventually Design Director, Alan was fortunate to learn and experience every aspect of the design and printing industry, including business-to-business, and business-to-retail.

In his “spare time”, Alan enjoys reading, golfing, playing poker in Vegas (baby), and spending time with his wife Lindsey, and new son, Nolan email Alan

Lindsey Knight

Vice President

After graduating from the University of Southern Indiana in 2000 with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing, Lindsey began her career in the golf industry. Specializing in tournament and event planning, as well as membership development. Lindsey is well versed in the “not-for-profit” world.

During her time spent working with not-for-profits, Lindsey also began a career as a real estate agent. Extremely organized and detail oriented, Lindsey enjoys having lots of irons in the fire. Along with such job titles as “mom”, and “realtor”, Lindsey also keeps Creative Roots’ books in order, pays the bills and keeps Alan’s “creative expenses” in check.

Lindsey enjoys beating Alan on the golf course (she played golf in college), spending time with family and friends, and being a mother. email Lindsey

Anna Kancs

Senior Graphic Designer

Anna graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Visual Communication Design in 2008. Shortly after, she began work at an Indianapolis design company where she worked with a team of designers to create brand, print and web design. She also widened her prepress and printing knowledge and learned about working in the field from the veteran designers. While there, she met and worked with Alan on multiple projects and was happy to continue working with him when he started Creative Roots Design Group.

In her spare time Anna loves to travel, spend time with her friends and family in Indianapolis and Chicago, and work on her house with her husband Maris email Anna
